Chat with your friends like on your console

Through PlayStation App, you can send text and voice messages to your PlayStation Network contacts individually or as a group. You can also see who is online and what games they're playing in real-time, as well as start a voice chat with them. In your chats, you can react to messages, create groups, send emojis and much more.

Buy games, download content and get access to exclusive offers

PlayStation App allows you to explore the entire PlayStation Store catalog, searching for new releases, checking reviews, watching trailers and buying games or DLC directly from the app. If you have linked your console, you'll be able to start downloads (either for new games or updates) automatically so that they're ready when you get home. You can also remotely manage your PlayStation storage, delete games you no longer use to free up space and start background downloads or updates. Once everything has finished, you can put the console in sleep mode to save power.

Customize your profile and check your progress

You can also edit your player profile, change your avatar, adjust your online status and check your trophy collection in PlayStation App. You can also view your friends' profiles, compare your progress and share your achievements with the community.
